About Dr. Laura Michele

I was born in Pennsylvania, where I completed my Bachelors in Fine Arts and Philosphy and foreign language. I left the east coast for the mountains in Colorado. High altitude skiing, river rafting, hiking while earning a successful living at Graphic Design for multiple local magazines. After a decade in the art world, I decided on a complete life change of focus and career. I always loved studying nutrition and learning about healing herbs along with meditation and energy medicine.

What triggered my career shift was a wanting for greater knowledge and healing within myself especially after a serious sickness and death of someone very close to me. I wanted to be part of a change in my community to help raise the love/health consciousness.

My studies began with Qi Gong and Tai Ji along with Kung Fu (shaolin style), meditation and self healing preceding TCM School.  I was awarded a Masters in Oriental Medicine Degree from the Colorado School of  Traditional Chinese Medicine in Denver, Colorado. in 2005. CSTCM was chosen  because of its highly experienced and eager to teach professors from China. They support students to learn through experience and constant practice creating a confident comfort level.  While in graduate school I extended my learning to outside resources like Raindrop Oils Spinal Massage with Young Living, BAT Body Alignment Therapy (energy healing, Jeff Levine originator), and tuning forks thanks to my sweet friend Rebecca and Acutonics. While attending TCM school I also experienced more than one healing crisis. Sometimes this lead to ER visits or just being still for hours. This was my first greatest learning from within, where surrender and trust and love were discovered on a whole new level.

After school, while beginning my practice in Hawaii, among others, I followed sports, local music, Kirtan, and people like Rikka Zimmerman and learned from students of Gary M Douglas, Access Conscious, The Bars,“Empowering people to know that they know”,  as well as Yogananda, Louise Hayes, Esther and Jerry Hicks, & indigenous medicine people.  Then Massage Therapy in 2015. In 2017 I began expanding my studies in functional medicine with Dr. Kharrazian and Apex Energetics, (Gut & Brain focus & understanding blood panels) along with bio-electronics and energetics with Cold Laser therapies with Erchonia PLTouch, and using BEMER Mat. I have also completed my Doctorate in Traditional Chinese Medicine including Integrative Medicine, Chinese herbs and Acupuncture (2019).

During my healing and education process I’ve witnessed in some cases instant recovery from illness, in my patients as well as treating myself. From what I thought was a horrible cold flu, intense pain, emergency room visits  to job changes, perspective changes, and healing hearts to new relationship as well as improving blood pressure and cholesterol, letting go of pain, and just feeling and looking better. But I’ve also learned, we need constant attention and awareness to maintain a healthy body, mind and spirt with Fun & Pure Love. 

I currently live in the Hawaiian Islands & Waters, and enjoy an abundant life surrounded by endless ocean and beauty. I enjoy aerial silks, paddle boarding, learning to surf, yoga, dance, hiking, running, gardening, swimming, slack line and free diving.
